At any given time a company may have to implement changes. Google has implemented changes and has done quite well. Here are some key points of Google's changes.

When a company decides to implement a change or put forth an initiative, one must see how this will affect change. For Google to implement these changes a thought about how sales will increase or decrease must be put into place. A carefully thought-out process is not always easy to implement because of the varying factors that come into play.

Initiative- Ease of Use

Ease of use may seem like an extremely profitable direction to take when considering the needs and wants of the customers, but one of the questions that would be imposed is “Will meeting customer needs generate enough sales to cover expenses?” This valid question must be looked into before any crucial change can occur. Google will have to see if the good outweighs the bad.

Initiative and Technology

“We have always believed that the most useful and powerful search technology hides its complexity from users and gives them a simple, intuitive way to get the information they want. (Asiang.com, 2009).” This initiative explores the beliefs that Google holds dear, but are shareholder and company interests taken into consideration? One can clearly see that the interests are taken into consideration because most individuals are open to a platform that is easy to use.

Clientele

When examining Google’s core clientele one can see that Google fosters its services to everyday common people and these types of customers are susceptible to technology that is easy and thus, saves them time. It is a good assumption that to put forth an initiative to make Google easy to use would undoubtedly increase sales. Initiatives that create a more user-friendly platform makes individuals comfortable with using the system. Many individuals do not enjoy an entity that is difficult. Ease of use is an excellent direction for Google to continue in.

Mission

The mission of a company is the backbone by which the company stands. Every day a company should seek to reach and achieve the mission of the company. Google’s mission is to make the information of the world usable and accessible (Asiang.com, 2009). To make a resource accessible to internationally would mean to increase sales internationally as well. One would agree that the task of making Google’s entire platform would be a feat of such grandeur, but the benefits will surely outweigh the cost. Essentially, one comes back full circle to the term “Go ahead and Google it.” The word Google remains the same even though language, culture and ethnic lines are crossed.
